Emirates offers special discounts and benefits for full-time students aged 16 to 31. To get the discount, you must book directly on the Emirates website using a special promo code and have a valid student ID or acceptance letter.
Student discount details and perks
Discounted fares: You can receive a discount of up to 10% on Economy Class and 5% on Premium Economy and Business Class fares.
Promo code: The discount is applied during the booking process by entering the code STUDENT.
Extra baggage: On most routes, you will get an extra 10kg or one additional piece of checked baggage. This perk does not apply to flights to and from the US and Canada.
Flexible booking: Student fares often include flexible options to change your flight. Flex and Flex Plus fares may include a free date change, while Saver fares might require a fee.
Emirates Skywards: You must be a member of the free Emirates Skywards loyalty program to access the student privileges.
Booking deadline: The offer is valid for bookings made until March 31, 2026.
How to book the student discount
Join Skywards: If you are not already a member, sign up for the Emirates Skywards program. You can do this for free on the Emirates website.
Search for flights: Go to the Emirates website or app and enter your flight details as you normally would.
Apply promo code: Before confirming your booking, enter STUDENT in the "Promotional offers" field to apply the discount.
Complete your booking: Select your desired flights and fare (Saver, Flex, or Flex Plus), and then proceed with payment.
Verify your student status: You must present a valid student ID or school acceptance letter at check-in to confirm your eligibility for the discounted fare. Failure to do so will void the discount, and you may be charged the standard fare.
