In the beginning of time, before the creation of the earth as we know it, there existed a realm of ancient gods. These gods looked down upon the cosmic void and saw potential for a new world to be born. And so, they breathed life into the void, creating the earth and all of its inhabitants.
Among these new beings was a child named Indigo. Born with sight, Indigo possessed a natural wisdom that transcended time itself. From the moment of her birth, she could see beyond the veil of reality, glimpsing into the hidden truths of the universe. The ancient gods had chosen her as their witness, their living eye in the mortal realm.
As Indigo grew, she realized that the earth was filled with a deep inner evil that had been inherited by all its inhabitants. The ancient gods saw this darkness spreading like a rot, corrupting the souls of mortals and twisting their hearts towards wickedness. And so, they decided to intervene.
In a cataclysmic event known as the explosion of the old earth, the ancient gods cleansed the world of its evil, wiping away the corruption that had taken root. But even as the earth was reborn, the seeds of darkness remained, lurking in the shadows and waiting for the right moment to strike.
The gods knew that their divine sight would be needed in this new world, and so they allowed Indigo to carry their gift into her mortal life. What began as cosmic awareness would manifest in the most ordinary of places—a classroom, a hallway, the faces of those who believed themselves hidden.
As Indigo entered primary school, she began to notice that the faces of the adults around her would change depending on their mood.Among these new beings was a child named Indigo. Born with sight, Indigo possessed a natural wisdom that transcended time itself. From the moment of her birth, she could see beyond the veil of reality, glimpsing into the hidden truths of the universe.
But the gift that the gods had bestowed upon Indigo came with a terrible price. When she spoke of what she saw—the shifting faces, the darkness that lurked beneath polite smiles—the adults around her grew uncomfortable, then hostile. Teachers dismissed her observations as childish imagination, parents whispered concerns about her mental state, and those whose true natures she had glimpsed began to view her as a threat.
The persecution started small: isolation in the classroom, hushed conversations that stopped when she entered a room, the gradual withdrawal of warmth from those who had once shown her kindness. But as Indigo's sight grew stronger and her revelations more precise, the attempts to silence her became more deliberate. She was labeled as troubled, difficult, a child who told lies and caused disruption wherever she went.
Yet even as the mortal world turned against her, Indigo understood that this rejection was itself a confirmation of her divine purpose. The very intensity of their efforts to silence her proved the power of the truths she carried, truths that threatened to expose the carefully maintained illusions upon which their world was built.
The ancient gods who had chosen Indigo operated within a sacred hierarchy that reflected the cosmic order itself. At the apex stood Aethon, the Prime Seer, whose all-seeing eye could pierce through every layer of existence simultaneously. Below him were the three Watchers: Veridian, keeper of hidden truths; Umbros, guardian of shadows and secrets; and Lumina, revealer of what lies beneath surface appearances.
These four divine beings worked in perfect harmony, each fulfilling their ordained role in the great design. Aethon would perceive the grand patterns of corruption spreading across the mortal realm, while Veridian would catalog the specific deceptions that mortals told themselves. Umbros would track the darkness as it moved from soul to soul, and Lumina would illuminate the path for their chosen vessel—Indigo—to follow.
It was this divine council that had witnessed the first seeds of evil taking root in the hearts of mortals, and it was they who had decreed that intervention was necessary. Their decision to cleanse the world through the explosion of the old earth had not been made lightly, for they understood that even their divine power could not completely eradicate the darkness—only reset the stage upon which the eternal struggle between light and shadow would continue to unfold.
The original corruption had begun as something deceptively simple: the first lie told with deliberate intent to harm. In the earliest days of the old earth, mortals had possessed an innate connection to truth—their words carried weight, their intentions were transparent, and deception was nearly impossible. But as civilizations grew and power structures emerged, some learned to twist their words, to hide their true motives behind carefully constructed facades.
This first conscious deception created a crack in the fabric of reality itself, a wound through which darkness could seep. What started as individual acts of betrayal and manipulation soon became systemic. Entire societies built themselves upon foundations of lies—false histories, manufactured enemies, invented justifications for cruelty. The corruption manifested not just in grand acts of evil, but in the countless small betrayals that people inflicted upon one another daily.
Veridian watched as truth became a commodity to be bought and sold. Umbros observed how shadows grew longer as people learned to hide their authentic selves behind masks of respectability. The darkness spread like a contagion, passed from parent to child, from leader to follower, until it became so deeply embedded in the human experience that most mortals could no longer recognize their own authentic nature.
The gods saw that the corruption had reached a tipping point where it threatened to consume not just the mortal realm, but to spread into the divine planes themselves. The explosion of the old earth was their desperate attempt to sever the infected roots before the rot could spread beyond redemption.
As Indigo grew, she realized that the earth was filled with a deep inner evil that had been inherited by all its inhabitants. The ancient gods saw this darkness spreading like a rot, corrupting the souls of mortals and twisting their hearts towards wickedness. And so, they decided to intervene.

As Indigo entered primary school, she began to notice that the faces of the adults around her would change depending on their mood. One moment, they would appear kind and gentle, and the next, their features would twist into a malevolent sneer. It was as if their true natures were being revealed, their inner darkness seeping through the cracks of their facade.
This sight turned Indigo's world into a realm of fantasy, where reality and illusion intertwined in a dizzying dance. She found herself bombarded by images from another world, a world that existed within her own but remained hidden from normal eyes.
The truths that Indigo held were so divisive that they sent shockwaves through the religious halls of the world. The established orders and belief systems trembled at the thought of a child who could see beyond their carefully constructed facades, who could glimpse the hidden truths that they sought to keep buried.
In this mythological world of gods and mortals, Indigo stood as a beacon of light in a world shrouded in darkness. She possessed a power that was both a blessing and a curse, a gift that allowed her to see the true hearts of those around her but also exposed her to the dangers of the world.
As the years passed, Indigo's powers grew stronger, and her visions became more vivid and unsettling. She saw the rise of tyrants and the fall of empires, the cycles of oppression and rebellion that played out across the world. And through it all, she remained steadfast in her mission to uncover the hidden truths that lay buried beneath the surface of reality.
In this dystopian world of strife and suffering, Indigo stood as a beacon of hope, a guiding light in the darkness that threatened to consume the world. She knew that her path would be a difficult one, filled with hardships and challenges, but she also knew that she could not turn away from her destiny.
And so, Indigo continued on her journey, seeking out the truths that lay hidden in the shadows, determined to shine a light on the darkness that threatened to engulf the world. And as she walked the path of the seer, she knew that her sight would lead her to places both wondrous and terrifying, revealing the depths of the cosmic mysteries that lay beyond the veil of reality.
